Umhlanga Tourism to host first liquor licence workshop
uMhlanga Tourism is hosting a liquor licence workshop for local businesses to address compliance, regulations, and licensing queries.
THERE’S only one day left for uMhlanga establishments in the tourism sector to respond to the liquor licence workshop invite, an initiative organised by Umhlanga Tourism.
The workshop is aimed at hotels, guesthouses, lodges, bed-and-breakfasts, restaurants, pubs, clubs and event organisers, and provides a platform for business owners and managers to obtain all the answers they need on liquor licences and compliance issues.
“Compliance in all aspects of tourism is very important to our organisation,” said chairperson for Umhlanga Tourism, Naomi Crous.
“We focus on compliance with municipal requirements and membership in key tourism bodies. We want to empower our members and ensure that regulations are adhered to. This is the reason why Umhlanga Tourism is planning the first Liquor Licence Workshop in the area. If there is anything you are uncertain about – this is the perfect space to raise it,” she said.
The workshop takes place on October 30 at the KZN Sharks Board from 11:00 to 13:00.
