Man killed in Durban North motorcycle crash
A man believed to be in his late forties was killed in a motorcycle crash on the M4 in Durban North on Friday night.
A man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the M4 Northern Freeway in Durban North on Friday evening (January 23).

According to ALS Paramedics, the crash occurred just after 20:30 on the northbound carriageway of the M4, before the Broadway off-ramp.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a motorcyclist had lost control of his bike and crashed.
“On arrival, paramedics found a single motorcyclist lying in the roadway. The man, believed to be in his late forties, had sustained fatal injuries,” Jamieson said.
He added that despite efforts by emergency personnel, there was nothing that could be done to save the rider, and he was declared dead at the scene.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this stage. SAPS were in attendance and will investigate the incident.
