Two arrested in connection with Durban North theft case

Numerous car break-in tools were found in the boot of the suspect’s vehicle. It is believed the two men may be linked to a theft out of a motor vehicle case on Roehampton Way.

TWO suspects were arrested on Wednesday (April 24) in connection with a theft out of a motor vehicle case that was opened at the Durban North police station.

The suspects, who were driving a black Hyundai i10, were stopped on Margaret Maytom Avenue and were found in possession of numerous car break-in tools and two extension jack handles.

According to Marshall Security spokesperson, Tyron Powell, the same vehicle was spotted at a theft incident on Roehampton Way last weekend.
