Durban and Coast SPCA to host monthly market
According to the SPCA, proceeds raised from the market help the association take care of homeless and abandoned animals in need.

DURBAN & Coast SPCA has welcomed back its monthly market days at its Springfield Park premises on Willowfield Crescent.
The market, which is open to everyone, is held on the last Saturday of every month (excluding December).
Marketing manager of the Durban and Coast SPCA, Tanya Fleischer, said that items are marked at good prices.
“The market is held from 08:00 to 12:00 and is exclusive to stalls manned by the SPCA. We have a big variety of all sorts of goodies at extremely good prices. Stalls vary each month, but you can expect things like clothing, shoes, luggage, bags, handbags, novelty items, seasonal items, jewellery, toys, glasses and vases.

“In addition, our charity shop and our bookroom are open. Our on-site coffee shop, Coffee Cats Café, is also open during the market and serves delicious breakfasts, toasties, milkshakes, coffees and yummy treats. If you’d like to sign up to volunteer at our Market Days, please sign up at: www.spcadbn.org.za under the ‘take action’ tab,” she said.
The next market will be held on Saturday, May 25.
All proceeds raised from the market help the association take care of homeless and abandoned animals in need.
