Dolphins clinch One Day Cup title
This was the Dolphins first 50 over domestic title since the 2020/2021 cricket season.
THE Hollywoodbets Dolphins claimed their first piece of silverware on Sunday, winning the 2024/2025 One Day Cup competition.
The Dolphins claimed a four wicket win over Goldrush Boland in Paarl.
It has been a remarkable end to the domestic 50-over tournament for the Durban team who claimed five consecutive wins in the lead-up to the final, including a victory over the Multiply Titans to qualify for the final.
Sunday’s triumph made it their sixth back-to-back victory and crowning the Dolphins deserving champions.

Even more pleasing for the away side was opener Jon Jon Smuts ended top of the competition run scorers’ list.
Smuts was also named player of the match for his powerful knock of 91.
The Dolphins, who won the toss and elected to field first, restricted Boland to 247/8 in their 50 overs.
Credit must go to Boland after they recovered from 90/6 thanks to contributions from Clyde Fortuin (54) and Ayabulela Gqamane (69).
Andile Simelane, Prenelan Subrayen, Keshav Maharaj and Tristan Luus all ended with two wickets apiece for the Dolphins.
