Armed gang robs jewellery store at north Durban mall
Reports indicate that 10 armed men entered the jewellery store today and fled with an undisclosed amount of goods.
A GANG of about 10 armed men stormed a jewellery store at a popular shopping mall north of Durban today, making off with an undisclosed quantity of jewellery.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) spokesperson Prem Balram said officers were dispatched at 11:54 after multiple shoppers called their emergency line.
“On arrival, our Reaction Officers confirmed that the suspects entered the store, held staff at gunpoint and stole jewellery before fleeing the scene,” said Balram.
The robbers escaped in a silver Toyota Etios and a blue Toyota Starlet. The vehicles’ registrations are unknown at this stage.
No injuries were reported. Police investigations are underway.
The shopping mall could not be reached for comment.
