According to metro police, the initiative aims to make its services more accessible and convenient for residents of Durban North.
DURBAN Metro Police has encouraged residents to make use of its services this weekend.
Residents will be able to check for outstanding traffic fines and make payments at the engagement at Pick n Pay Hyper by the Sea on Saturday, October 25.
“As the festive season approaches, Metro Police will be intensifying visibility by conducting roadblocks and various operations, including warrant of arrest operations, to ensure driver compliance and safer roads for everyone.

“It is for that reason that metro officers will be at Pick n Pay Hyper by the Sea to assist residents with all their traffic-related matters,” explained metro police spokesperson Colonel Boysie Zungu.
Outside of making payments, residents can also submit representations or queries, update contact details, arrange payment plans and learn more about traffic laws and road safety.
This initiative takes place from 09:00 to 16:00.
