Auditions call for actors (Sunday, January 25)

IF you have ever dreamed of stepping onto the stage and causing a little (theatrical) chaos, then the Westville Theatre Club is offering you that chance.

They have announced auditions for its comedy, Pandemonium in Paradise, set to hit the stage in April.

Auditions will take place at Westville Theatre Club, next to the Westville Swimming Pool, on Sunday, January 25 (from 14:00 until 16:00) and Monday, January 26 (18:00 until 19:30).

Aspiring performers only need to attend one session; just be sure to arrive on time.

The comedy is written and produced by Melanie Visser, who is on the lookout for actors of mixed ages and genders, roughly 20 to 70 years. Whether you are a seasoned performer or a first-time thrill-seeker, you are welcome to audition.

Auditionees will be asked to read from a monologue or script, which will be provided on the day.

Rehearsals will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with Sunday afternoon rehearsals scheduled when required.

Performance dates are from April 9-12 and April 16-19.

Contact Melanie (WhatsApp only) on 071 461 8515, or Dorothy on 083 776 1754.

Westville Theatre Club members Maia and Melanie Visser encourage aspiring actors to audition for the upcoming show. Melanie is also the producer and writer of the comedy Pandemonium in Paradise.
