Change of refuse collection day for Durban North roads
The change taken by the Waste Management Directorate will see some refuse collection days go from a Thursday to a Wednesday.
THE City has informed residents of 12 Durban North roads that their domestic refuse collection days will change from April 1.
According to the municipality’s Waste Management Directorate (formerly DSW), the change forms part of optimising waste collection services.
“This also ensures a more equitable distribution of waste loads across the City; certain collection days have been revised. This adjustment is intended to improve operational efficiency, balance collection volumes, and maintain a reliable and sustainable waste management service for all residents,” the City said in a statement.
