Moses Mabhida Stadium pitch closed for rehabilitation

The rehabilitation programme is necessary to restore the playing surface to optimal condition and to ensure it meets required standards.

THE pitch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium is currently undergoing essential rehabilitation until April 30.

According to the City, during this period, the pitch will be temporarily closed to allow for critical maintenance and recovery work.

“This rehabilitation programme is necessary to restore the playing surface to optimal condition and to ensure it meets required standards ahead of scheduled fixtures taking place in May. The work forms part of the City’s ongoing commitment to maintaining Moses Mabhida Stadium as a premier, worldclass sporting and events facility,” the City said in a statement.
