Aweh! Find out what’s happening in Durbs

From a garden show to rock n roll, and an event for Autism awareness, it's all happening this weekend.

Let the show, garden and rock and roll begin.

One woman show

“A Woman Apart”, a one-hander by Naresh Veeran starring Kajal Maharaj, runs at Seabrookes Theatre from April24–26. Tash is a successful, married lawyer (Maharaj). We meet her scrolling through her phone while waiting for an Uber in the midst of a moral and ethical crisis. As her story unfolds, we take an intimate look at the choices and actions that brought her to this point. Presented as a one woman live on-stage performance, an immersive theatre experience supports it through a creative mix of AI and video technology. Show times are Friday, April 24 (15:00, 19:30), Saturday, April 25 (16:00 fundraiser, 19:30), Sunday, April 26 (19:30). Tickets are R150. Book via WhatsApp 069 433 9728 or Instagram @NareshVeeranLive.
