Tiny Finds Fair supports Durban North charities
The fair offered quality pre-loved baby and children’s items at affordable prices while promoting the reuse of goods that children often outgrow quickly.
PARENTS know that while welcoming a new baby is a joyful milestone, the costs of clothing, equipment and other essentials can quickly add up.
To help ease that financial burden while promoting sustainable shopping, the Tiny Finds Fair recently brought together local families at Grace Church for a successful community fundraiser.

Organised by Kelly Manson, together with her mother, Karin Woods, and sister, Caitlyn Woods, the fair offered quality pre-loved baby and children’s items at affordable prices, giving families access to essentials while encouraging the reuse of items that children quickly outgrow.
“As a mom, I know how quickly children outgrow clothing and equipment, and how easy it is to overspend on items that are only needed for a short time,” said Manson.
“The fair gives families an opportunity to shop sustainably, give pre-loved items a second life and save money on essentials.”
Proceeds from the event were split between The Domino Foundation’s Baby Home and Babyline, which provides care for vulnerable babies. Manson said the organisation was chosen as the beneficiary because its work closely aligns with the vision behind the Tiny Finds Fair.
Receiving the donation, the home’s Crisis Mom, Precious Thabethe, expressed her appreciation.
“We are so grateful to the organisers of the Tiny Finds Fair for partnering with us, creating a positive ripple effect to touch the lives of the babies in need we care for,” she said.
Manson said she hopes the Tiny Finds Fair will become a regular community event, continuing to support local families, promote sustainable shopping and make a meaningful difference through future fundraising initiatives.
