‘At least Dianne Kohler Barnard apologised’

Reader says it's good that DA Kohler Barnard who shared a Facebook post on crime, which said South Africa was better under apartheid president PW Botha, apologised.

THE letter by Siya Mhkize about Dianne Kohler Barnard in the Northglen News dated 9 October refers. At least she was responsible enough to apologise for her stupidity, unlike most arrogant ANC officials who don’t know when one is due (lying about their qualifications, the list goes on and on).

Had she been an ANC official, she would’ve been moved to another portfolio and the issue swept under the carpet. The DA quickly made the decision to remove her from her current position. In the real world, we all make mistakes, it’s how the leaders rectify the problem that matters.
