Loops celebrates Women’s Month at the lake
AWARD-winning, multi-instrumentalist, Jeremy Loops, returns to the Durban Botanical to celebrate Women's Month at the Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert on Sunday 18 August.
Calling himself a modern folk artist, influenced by Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, Loops creates a mash-up of a number of genres such as folk, reggae, hip-hop, gypsy-jazz, whatever keeps me smiling really.
Live, his performance is about crowd participation and collaboration, most notably with rapper, Motheo Moleko and saxophonist, Jamie Faull.
A special KidZone will welcome children for some extra fun and games.
Tickets are available online at www.webtickets.co.za and are R110 each online or R130 at the gate on the day. Children between eight and 12 pay R50 ad there is no charge for children under eight. Drinks, cooler boxes and picnic baskets are welcome.
Gates open at 1pm for pre-sold tickets and at 1.30pm on the day. The first act starts at 2.30pm.
