Fun quiz night to raise funds
JOIN the Jingle Bells Project Team for a fun night with family and friends to raise funds for two homes in need of your support, Natal Settlers Memorial and Sinakekele Children’s home.

The Jingle Bell Project is a community initiative that was set up in 2008 and is aimed at sharing Christmas blessings with those less fortunate.
It is their mission to support a new home each year, spreading the Christmas cheer and creating more awareness of various homes that are in need.
This year, all donations and Christmas blessings will be in support of Natal Settlers Memorial and Sinakekele Childrens Home. Natal Settlers Memorial is a non-profit organisation that houses over 500 elderly, mentally and physically disabled and frail folk from the community. They rely on public donations and minimal government grants received by the residents to run this home. Sinakekele is a children’s and babies’ home passionate about finding a loving home for each child that crosses their path. They house approximately 10 children (ranging from birth to 12 years) at a time.
This year Jingle Bell Project will host a Christmas lunch, including entertainment, for the residents of Natal Settlers in December. Along with this, each resident will receive their very own Christmas gift box with various goodies, including toiletries and luxury items.
The Jingle Bell Project encourages support in many forms, whether it be money, time or donations, no matter how big or small.
The quiz night is on Saturday 2 November at 6.30pm for 7pm at @tap Community Centre, Durban North Baptist Church, Mackeurten Avenue. Entrance is R20 per person, participating in teams of four to eight people. Bring your own picnic basket, cool drinks will be on sale. Luck draws and raffle tickets will be on sale.
