Durban North funny man is the ‘happy clapper’

Catch Aaron McIlroy in his hit comedy, the Happy Clapper at Grace Family Church.

AARON McIlroy will be performing his hit comedy, the Happy Clapper at Grace Family Church, Riverside Campus corner Anthony and Hillbrow Roads, Umgeni Park on Wednesday, 19 November at 7pm.

All proceeds of the performance will go to The Jozini Joy Project, McIlroy’s non-profit organisation created to help widows and orphans living in northern KZN.

The Happy Clapper, co-written and directed by Patrick Kenny is a hilarious comedy show that speaks to sceptics and those who have an interest in things spiritual, offering a broad scope of perspectives that aim to enlighten and entertain while treating religious matters in a robust if sometimes tongue-in-cheek light.

McIlroy says,”The Happy Clapper sets out to defuse some of the myths surrounding what it means to be a Christian.”

In a nutshell, The Happy Clapper aims to share with the broader community what Christians believe and why, through invigorating doses of comedy. “We’re not saying it is simple, but rather is it real and if so, is it worth considering?” says McIlroy.

Tickets to this event are R75 and can be purchased on-line at webtickets.co.za.
