Renault Sandero Stepway Plus more mobile friendly
In May of last year, we were introduced to the updated Renault Sandero Stepway Plus, a replacement for the successful Dynamique. Renault South Africa is back with more refinements.
While there are no visible changes to the exterior, aside from three new colours, Highland Silver, Cafe Brown and Fusion Red, the revised Plus has enhanced features mainly focusing on connectivity, namely smartphone mirroring as well as Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Some of the other notable changes to the interior include new seat cover patterns and colour accents on the air vents.
Left unchanged though, motivation still comes from the long serving 898 cc three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 66 kW and 135 N.m of torque. Also as before, drive is routed to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox only, with Renault claiming a combined fuel consumption of 5.4 L/100 km.
A five year/150 000 km warranty and two year/30 000 km service plan is standard on all models.
