The annual Gandhi Walk, hosted by the 1860 Legacy Group, again attracted a rainbow of walkers – families, companies, friends and individuals and even babies in prams. The 5km walk from Talana Museum, through Peacevale and back up to Talana, is held annually to honour Gandhi’s passive resistance campaign in which Dundee planned a central role. Generously sponsored among others, by Charlies SuperSpar, Imperial Panelbeaters and Mohan Hira of Gauteng, the walk was this year a bumper field of fun, laughter and fitness!
