Leeroy Poulter and Rob Howie drove a superb race in the Battlefields 400 which was the second leg of the SA Cross Country Series to make it two out of two for the series. Leeroy told the Courier that the course, which started and finished at Battlefields Country Lodge and covered two loops of around 100km, was very tough because of the rainy, muddy conditions.
There were some crashes and bashes at the end and the cars were caked with mud. It was a great event for Dundee and brought hundreds of visitors to the area.
