Festive fund-raising Christmas market

There were lots to see, do and eat at the Shepstone Place Christmas Market

Locals came out in their numbers on December 10 to be part of the Shepstone Place Christmas Market. As an annual event, this market is a fund-raising drive for the Home.

Stallholders from as far as Newcastle set up shop in the Methodist Church yard and were ready for a day of brisk trading.

The warm weather had locals out and about, browsing the many stalls with a variety of festive gifts and treats.

The highlight of the day was a visit from Santa Claus who arrived at 10:00am much to the delight of the children (and their parents).
Santa handed out gifts and took pictures with the children.

Market organiser, Sherlene Gericke, said the market was an awesome success and thanks everyone for their support.
