Nongoma SAPS seeks family of lost teen

The teen claims she was on her way to meet a sister in Nongoma when she got lost.

Nongoma SAPS is appealing to members of the community, for assistance in locating the family of Simphiwe Zwane (13), who is said to have walked into the station claiming she was lost.

Officials report the child claims her father is Sifiso Zwane and her mother is Nonsikelelo Manqele, who work at the Ethekwini Municipality. The teen also claimed she was on her way to meet a sister in Nongoma when she got lost.

Simphiwe told police officers she does not know her parents’ contact details. She was found with books from Inqubeko Primary School, which detectives believe is in Esimashwini, Nquthu.
