Members were warned about a fire on the N11 at Majuba Pass between the motel and O’Neil’s Cottage.
A light motor vehicle collision took place on the corner of Hardwick and Murchison streets. The left lane towards Albert Wessels Road was affected.
A vehicle was burgled on Boundary Road opposite the supermarket. The radio was stolen.
Thursday
Members were warned the Eskom survey members were not representatives of SESSA but scam artists trying to gain access to homes.
Friday
A taxi and a vehicle were involved in a collision on the N11 turnoff to Utrecht. All officials were on scene. The road towards Newcastle was affected. One person passed away and another sustained serious injuries.
Saturday
Members were requested to be on the lookout for Sinelabdhin Saleh after his vehicle had been found at the taxi rank on Thursday. Members were requested to contact police with any information as to his whereabouts.
Sunday
A man was fatally stabbed in the early hours of the morning in Blaauwbosch. Suspects were taken to hospital with injuries.
A dog was rescued from a swimming pool in Percy Riley Street after being trapped for some time. The dog was taken to the SPCA. The owners of the dog were requested to report to the SPCA to collect their dog.
Monday
A woman was attacked in Panorama Drive and hit on the head by three or four men. She was robbed of her cellphone.
Members were requested to be aware when withdrawing cash and not to leave cash or any other valuables in their vehicles as it was month end and criminals were on the prowl during this time.
