School closes after suspicions of murder
Teachers at the school were not allowed to attend Mr Mdlolo’s funeral, being chased away by angry pupils and community members

Sicelokuhle High School in Peacetown is closed after pupils and the community suspect foul play in the recent death of their principal.
School principal Mr Mdlolo passed away about two weeks ago and his funeral was held on Saturday.
The school has been closed since Mr Mdlolo’s passing, resulting in the fact that the grade 12 pupils did not write their trial examinations.
According to the community, the principal was only at the school for three months before falling ill and then dying. Furthermore, they say the exact same thing has happened to other principals, as well as a teacher. This has roused people’s suspicions that foul play is involved in some way.
Teachers at the school were not allowed to attend Mr Mdlolo’s funeral, being chased away by angry pupils and community members.
The school has remained closed, with only the matrics having the chance to write their final exams – without having written the preparation trial exams. With the school being closed, the matrics will have to prepare at home alone, with no help from teachers.
