Water leak creates pond

A puddle has been forming for about two months now and no one has done anything about the situation

A little pond has formed at the bottom of Ruby Gailey Drive as a result of what appears to be a burst water pipe.
Residents of the area say that a puddle has been forming for about two months now and that no one has done anything about the situation. The grass and other plants surrounding the water leak are much greener than the other flora in the area, showing that the water has obviously been there awhile. An upset resident exclaimed that, “It stinks like all hell now. We try to avoid it, but if we have to drive past, as it is one of the main roads, we have to wind up our windows to ensure that the smell doesn’t get into the car.”
The ‘pond’ is also full of rubbish and with summer on its way, it is sure to attract mosquitoes and other pests.
At the time of publishing, the municipality had failed to comment.
