The 12-year-old’s lifeless body was found in the Shayamoya area in Ntabamhlophe.

Thabiso S’qiniseko Dlomo was reported missing on Tuesday, September 17.

Ntabamhlophe police were informed that the child had gone missing from the Shayamoya area.

Police investigations led them to the grim discovery three days later.

A case of murder has been opened.

Estcourt Cluster Communications Officer Captain JS Sokhela said that no arrests have been made and the motive for the killing is unknown.

He added that none of the deceased’s organs were missing.

“The case is under investigation and anyone with information is urged to forward such information to the Detective Commander at Ntabamhlophe SAPS on 036 353 3434.
