The Umzinyathi Disaster Manager Head Mzwandile Hadebe will face an investigation following his behaviour during the presentation he made at the Umzinyathi council meeting. The presentation was about the future of the Rural Metro after eNdumeni, Municipality, Nquthu, Msinga and Mvoti terminated their service. The Former Mayor of Umzinyathi Distract Council Mbangiseni Yengwa proposed that Mr Hadebe’s conduct be investigated. Some of the Councillors especially from the IFP felt that M Hadebe was ‘arrogant’ and did not show any respect for the council.
They claimed that during the presentation Hadebe did not have any supporting document and he had been keep on saying that “if councillors want to ask something they must ask me”. Councillor Yengwa said he was felt very offended because Mr Hadebe was behaving like a’ boss’ and they were looking like children. It was resolved that the Municipal Manager Mdu Mngomezulu would investigate the matter.
