Shooting linked to politics

An alert to a shooting was received by police at 7.10pm from the Nkwezela area. A 30-year-old male Magadana Dlamini sustained gunshot wounds to his stomach, left hip and right thigh.

“He was quickly rushed to hospital. The motive is suspected to be politically motivated however, the Wembezi Detectives are investigating the case,” commented police spokesperson Captain JS Sokhela.
He added a reward is being offered to anyone who has information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
