Appassionato Music Studio, presented by Mareli and Dina-Mari Mostert, held their year-end Parents’ Evening on Thursday.
The evening was filled with lots of warm music and dancing. The students all looked cheerful in their colourful dresses.
The programme held many surprises in store, such as an item for the parents to dance with the children, a duet played by the two boys, Nicholas Steenkamp and Daniel Mostert, as well as some beautiful cello and violin playing.
There were many other instruments as well, including guitar, recorder and piano.
The programme even included some ballet dancing, a singing item as well as an ensemble played by all the students. The youngest student, Suzanne Meintjies, who is only five years old, impressed everyone with good note-reading, while Kendra van Schalkwyk composed her own piece for the recorder. The parents enjoyed the evening and appreciated seeing the progress of each student.
