Four suspects, responsible for the business robbery on Pep Stores on Victoria Street, were arrested, shortly after their brazen attack on the store.
The robbery took place on the morning of Tuesday, December 17 when the manageress was counting money for banking.
Two men entered the store with firearms, ordering customers and staff to get on the floor. They then made off with R23 000 in cash, fleeing in a white Nissan Sentra, Glencoe registration.
Dundee detective members and the Glencoe K9 Unit gave chase and apprehended the suspects soon after. Four men were arrested, the money recovered and three unlicensed firearms also retrieved.
The accused appeared in the Dundee Magistrates Court on December 19 charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and for the business robbery.
