Water is everywhere after a pipe burst outside a resident’s home in Kandahar Avenue this morning (Friday).
The force of the water is lifting up the tar of the road, including a section of the pavement. “This is the fourth time this pipe has burst and I am fed up with the situation!” fumed the angry resident.
As a result of the leak, the family has been without water from early this morning.
According to the resident, on the occasions when the pipe burst in the past, uThukela took their own sweet time to come and sort out the situation. As a result, this time the resident decided to personally go and talk to uThukela about the situation.
“I hope this gets sorted out as soon as possible and that they fix the pipe properly so that the problem doesn’t rear its ugly head again in the future,” added the concerned resident.
