A woman was killed after being kicked out of a moving vehicle on the N11 on Sunday.
Reports confirmed by sources indicated the woman, estimated to be 30 years of age, was found dead and partially clothed on the verge of the busy national route, towards Volksrust.
Evidence suggested she had been ejected from the vehicle at speed.
Her body was discovered at about 7.10am on Sunday morning, and police officials said an inquest case had been opened, in an attempt to determine the circumstances leading up to her gruesome death.
