Potholes in Farady Street become a cause of concern

A motorist, claimed the potholes needed to be repaired soon, or else the situation would just be worsening.

While not one of the main roads in Newcastle, Faraday Street does see its fair show of constant traffic flow.

However, motorists have encountered potholes that would do the Memel Road proud.

A motorist who wished to remain anonymous, claimed the potholes needed to be repaired soon, or else the situation would just be worsening.

“The potholes are enormous and they are messing up cars. I have seen municipal workers paint white lines on the road, but nothing is being done to repair the actual damage,” said the irate resident.

The municipality’s communication department was contacted for comment, but none was forthcoming at the time of going to print.
