Pothole repair brings relief

This road sees high volumes of traffic in the mornings and mid-afternoons as two schools are situated close by

Residents will be breathing a sigh of relief, especially if they frequent Outspan Road.
Repairs to the nasty potholes finally got underway on Friday.
This road sees high volumes of traffic in the mornings and mid-afternoons as two schools are situated close by.
The potholes on a portion of the road meant that motorists had to steer off their side of the road in order to pass by without slipping into the broken road surface but this became hazardous when the road was busy.
After a recent pipe burst, one reader told the Estcourt News that the road became riskier as the water concealed the large potholes.
The road repair will alleviate some of these problems.
