Jukskei players on target

The day was enjoyed by all, and the players would like to compliment Richards Bay for their organisation of the day.

On Saturday, July 26 members of Sarel Cilliers High School Jukskei Club travelled to Richards’ Bay to compete in the Zack Boshoff Open Jukskei Tournament. Players from Mpumalanga and KZN participated in the tournament, hosted by Richards Bay High School Jukskei Club.
The top team of the day in the A section was the Hibiscus team from Umtentweni, while the honours in the B section went to the Sarel Cilliers B1 team, comprising Henko van Reenen and his two children, Ruan and Anika.


Players of the Day in the A section were Brenda Wolmarans and Niekie Coetzee from Mpumalanga, and in the B section honours went to Sko Dlamini (Sarel Cilliers) and Sne Memela (Dundee Junior School). The day was enjoyed by all, and the players would like to compliment Richards Bay for their organisation of the day.


On Sunday, July 27 the Umzinyathi District Indigenous Games trials were held in Pomeroy, and Sko Dlamini was chosen to be included in the jukskei team to represent the Umzinyathi District in the Provincial Indigenous Games to be held in the Amajuba District from August 15 to 17.
