Fund raiser tantalises taste buds

The Majuba Rotary Club of Newcastle hosted a fund-raiser at Eagle Peak Spur last Tuesday evening.

The fund-raiser was made possible by Eagle Peak Spur, allocating a certain percentage of the night’s income to the club.

Visham Surajlal from Rotary explained the purpose of the event was to benefit identified community projects and charities.

“We as Rotary Club are trying to help the less privileged,” he said.

Rotary members and their families supported the initiative by rallying together and enjoying a relaxed evening while contributing to the worthy cause.

“The foundation and international service committee would like to thank all who took the time out to make the evening a success,” concluded Mr Surajlal.
