Petrol was thrown at the manageress of the Clothing Junction on Gladstone Street early on Sunday morning. This is the sixth robbery at the store over the past eighteen months.
The manageress was opening the shop at around 9am when she was confronted by several men.
One threw the petrol over her shoulder and upper body.
The men then helped themselves to clothing and other goods.
Police were alerted and took the manageress to hospital where she was treated for trauma and skin inflammation.
Again, with no security cameras in the central business district, it appears as if local businesses will continue to be easy targets.
