Six people have been arrested and charged for possession of dagga after a raid at a homestead in Ntabamhlophe. Last Thursday police acted on information and raided the homestead in the Gcinusizi area at 8pm.
Bags and containers packed with dagga to the street value of R40 000 was recovered. The suspects appeared in the Estcourt Magistrates Court on Monday, March 30.
The Estcourt Cluster Commander Brigadier Reynders as well as the Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Radebe applauded the good work by Ntabamhlophe SAPS members, saying that the seized dagga was destined for the communities, where it would be sold to young children too.
