Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) officers are eager to speak to a man they believe can help them solve a rape case.
As depicted in the attached Identikit, the man is described as being in his 40s. He is of medium build, about 1.75m tall, with a light complexion. He has a scar on the right cheek and on the left side of his head.
Police believe he can help them solve a case of rape which occurred on February 6 this year in KwaHlathi, Ekuvukeni, where a woman was accosted by a man while making her way home on foot.
He forced her into a donga, where he raped her at gunpoint.
