Ichthus learners go to Durban

We watched how penguins swim and eat at uShaka Marine World"- Amy-Faith Stein Grade five.

Twenty-three excited Ichthus grade four and five learners were treated to a trip to Durban by Mrs Viljoen, Mrs Tiley and Mrs Catlett on May 12 to May 15.
Mr and Mrs Barichievy also joined the group at Ocean Villa and the school was very grateful for the assistance with the accommodation. Ichtus thanked the Lord Jesus for his wonderful protection over them.
The learners were elated. Here are some of the comments of the learners: “I enjoyed the dolphin show! The dolphins were dancing and making sounds”- Akhona Sithole Grade five.
“We went on tour and it was fun. We went to Crocodile Creek and there were massive crocodiles. We saw snakes and it was amazing to hold a snake and it was huge. It was the best tour ever”- Zisanda Mazibuko Grade Five.
“I enjoyed going to the Shark’s Board. It was interesting. We watched a movie and they cut a shark open and showed us its heart and intestines. I won a crocodile tooth for answering a question at Crocodile Creek”- Sam Maltman Grade five.
“We watched how penguins swim and eat at uShaka Marine World”- Amy-Faith Stein Grade five.
“We saw a baby crocodile that was very scary at Crocodile Creek; I ran away when it almost came for us!”- Siphume Ntombela Grade four.
