Opera singer raises money for church
Jannie Moolman sang all the old favourites he knew would get the audience singing along and all the toes tapping
NG Kerk Ladysmith brought opera singer Jannie Moolman to Ladysmith to perform at Platrand Lodge on Friday night.
A huge crowd was entertained by soothing harmonies as this well-known singer took the stage to do what he does best.
The tables were beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was friendly. People’s tummies rumbled as the aroma of cooking food reached their nostrils, and they weren’t disappointed by the top-class cuisine they were presented with. A scrumptious meal was served and everyone heartily tucked in.
Every year, the congregation of NG Kerk Ladysmith brings a guest artist to town to raise funds for the church and it is always a great success.
