The High School Academic Award Ceremony of St Dominic’s Academy Newcastle was held earlier this month.
Pupils were acknowledged for their hard work during the year, and were rewarded accordingly.
The leaders for 2016 were also appointed, with Wynand Esterhuizen elected Head Boy, and Lufuno Muthivhi elected Head Girl.
“We were privileged to host Tony Lloyd from Wales as our guest speaker. He highlighted the importance of ‘Character, Communication and the Community’, and the dangers of social media,” the school added.
