Truck abandoned at the roadside
Trucks are not permitted to park in residential areas between 8pm and 6am.
A truck and trailer seem to have been abandoned opposite Tugela High School, on Allen Street.
Residents took to social media to complain about this occurence, stating the truck was parked there for many weeks at a time.
They further reported the truck to the correct departments, but nothing was done from an official standpoint.
“We have contacted the municipality to lodge a complaint about this truck, but the matter has not been resolved. The truck has not been moved from this spot since about the beginning of December. Since when are people just allowed to dump unused vehicles wherever they want?” asked a concerned and infuriated resident, who wished to remain anonymous.
The municipality was contacted for comment, however no official response was received at the time of publication.
Trucks may not be parked in a residential area between 8pm and 6am.
