Update: Water restored in most areas
The Ezakheni area is still without water
By this morning (Friday), water had been restored in most areas.
The communities of Ezakheni, Ezakheni Industrial Area and Acaciavale were without water since yesterday morning. This was due to high turbidity (sediment or foreign particles in the water, ie silt) at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Plant.
Although the water is back on, it is brown in colour in some areas and residents are unsure if it is safe to drink or to use for household chores. So it is still a battle to find clean drinking water.
The Ezakheni area is still without water.
