Free stoma therapy training

The training provided at the workshop is free and will cover basic stoma anatomy, basic stoma care

When a patient undergoes surgery and is fitted with a stoma bag, it is essential for the caregivers or family members to correctly handle and care for the bag. A stoma bag is attached to an opening in the body and collects waste.

Changing this stoma bag may seem daunting, so this is why a workshop on basic stoma therapy is being held on Friday, May 20 from 9am to 1pm.

The training provided at the workshop is free and will cover basic stoma anatomy, basic stoma care and includes a hands-on pouch change.

For more information and to confirm the venue contact Mrs RD Peerbhay on 036 352 5186 or 073 522 6946.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
