Zwakele Mncwango, leader of the DA in KZN, together with the party’s Umzinyathi constituency head, Sizwe Mchunu, hit the campaign trail in the area with door-to-door campaigns in Glencoe, street meetings in Nquthu and Nondweni and a public meeting in Dundee.
Mr Mncwango said the party’s ward candidate list is to be released on Wednesday. “The DA is fighting in every ward in Endumeni and we are the only alternative to the corrupt mess the ANC has put local government in. We are the only truly non-racial party. We ask voters to give us a chance to govern and make a difference in the lives of all South Africans.” The local government election will be held on August 3.
