Coalition politics for Endumeni
Endumeni could see horse trading to determine who will run the town

Endumeni is in for five years of coalition government. Judging by the results and the complicated system used by the IEC to determine proportional representative seats, the Council will look so:
ANC = six seats.
IFP = four seats.
DA = two seats.
EFF = one seat.
Although the ANC won six of the seven wards, they were only allocated one P.R. seat. Should the IFP, DA and EFF form a coalition, through horse trading, the key positions of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Speaker will be allocated to the IFP, DA and EFF.
The ANC garnered 8452 votes – around 50% of votes cast which is slightly down on the 2011 results.
