Beware of dog poisoning
A few days ago, a resident living in the Aloe Park area was devastated when two of his dogs were poisoned
The Ladysmith Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) is appealing to pet owners to please be vigilant after four dogs have been found poisoned in Acaciavale and surrounding areas.
“Please, dog owners, be on the lookout and watch what is being thrown into your yard,” says Annamarie Koen of the AACL.
It seems that dogs have become a target for criminals in Ladysmith.
A few days ago, a resident living in the Aloe Park area was devastated when two of his dogs were poisoned.
When he woke up in the morning, he found his ‘best friends’ dead in the yard.
“People need to stop this cruelty; animals’ lives are also important,” fumed the upset resident.
