SAPS seeking registered informers

THE LOCAL SAPS are looking for community members who can help them fight crime more efficiently.

Locals who are willing to help are requested to visit the local SAPS offices where they can officially register as private informers.

“The details of these informers will be kept completely private. They will also receive a stipend should they provide us with accurate information that will lead to any arrests,” said the SAPS’ Major Vusi Mbatha.
