Another dog poisoning trauma

Police believe the poisonings are related to plans by thieves to break into homes.

Incidents of dog poisonings are continuing to traumatise pet lovers.
Following several cases in Dundee, the plague has spread to Glencoe, leaving sisters, Anna and Susan van Deventer devastated. One of their many dogs died from suspected phosphate poisoning at their home on Biggar Street two weeks ago.
The sisters thanked the local vet, Dr Owen, for assisting them although their dog did succumb to the poison a day later.
A second dog, Spider, was stolen days later, which added to the dog lovers’ trauma. The sisters hope readers who see their dog will alert them on 072 256 6521.
