Water specialists asked to assist with Glencoe’s water woes

Irate Glencoe residents have inundated the Courier with their water complaints

Specialists are being called in from Newcastle to assist with Glencoe’s water woes.  The central part of town has been without water since last week.

Only homes in the vicinity of Damman, Church and Kemp Streets are affected.  It is understood that there have been two major burst pipes and this has impacted on the level of the reservoir.

Glencoe residents have inundated with the Courier to voice their frustration over the situation.

Umzinyathi District Municipality’s Nomonde Nziwakhe confirmed that the specialists have been asked to attend to the crisis.
